Fri-Day 1
Chem 4/5 - did rate of appearance/disappearance/reaction conversions.
Discussed reaction mechanisms, elementary steps, rate determining steps.
Showed plot of conc vs. time from multiple trials translated to initial conc vs. initial rate in order to determine the ORDER/MOLECULARITY of a given reactant in the mechanism.
Chem 8 - got up to explaining molecularity in a mechanism.
APB - did thermo cycles for engines and freezers; looked at practical examples of each.
did 3 questions with examples showing ccw = heat pump out and cw = engine!
Labs handed in.
